We set up this blog to help our family and friends follow our journey to Ethiopia to get our son, Gavin. Now, 2.5 years later, we have added 4 more children to our family. We hope this blog will be an encouragement for others to boldly step out in faith and do whatever it is God is calling you to do!

On our way to Africa
Here are a couple of shots of the Sweeney family (looking like Hillbillies). Surprisingly, everything made it to Ethiopia unscathed and we did not get charged much for the excess baggage fees.
